With so many watch brands, models, and styles I thought it only fair to publish a list of watches that would look great in your Christmas stocking, based on alphabetical order. So here is your A list Christmas discount luxury watch countdown, featuring Armani, Breitling, Citizen, Diesel, and Equipe. In my alphabetical list, I have chosen some conservative styles but added one I that struck me as being somewhat quirky and put me in mind of a car dashboard. I am sure you will know it when you see it.
Armani Men’s Sportivo
This Armani Sportivo is a lovely example of a nice clean conservative design with the addition of Chronograph as a complication, giving it a masculine look and feel. The stainless steel case is 46mm, black dial against a subtle brown leather strap, with mineral glass giving scratch resistant protection and a water resistance to 100m. The working heart of this piece is a reliable Quartz movement.
Breitling Automatic Chronograph
This Breitling automatic chronograph is a typical example of what Breitling are known for with its design underscoring the precision of the automatic movement and chronograph complication, beneath a warm beige dial. This 30th-anniversary special edition Chronomat collection embodies the qualities Breitling is best known for while creatively mixing comfortable black canvas strap with a complicated dial and bezel giving the perfect look.
The men’s Axiom Chronograph from Citizen is both elegant and refined for the more mature gentleman who may want less bling while maintaining a certain ‘look at me factor’. The style is a hybrid Dress/Chronograph with its stainless steel black dial and bezel, and lightweight stainless steel bracelet. This whole effect is one of understated beauty.
Diesel Men’s Deadeye.
This Diesel Men’s Deadeye is something of a mixture with the complexity of the Breitling and the subtlety of the Armani with the complication and exciting dial, crown protector and the brown leather strap. The overall feel of this model is masculine and rugged and wouldn’t seem out of place yachting or playing ball. The case is stainless steel with white dial concealing and Quartz movement, below a scratch resistant mineral glass providing 50 meters water resistance.
Equipe E902 Dash XXL Men’s Watch
Well, here it is, the one I was talking about earlier. The Equipe watch design cues are all based on aspects of the automobile. That could be anything from the exhaust system, wheels, instruments and gauges, even small details such as ball-joints, and those cues are translated into art design that stands out on your wrist.
Equipe currently have 15 collections including Dash, Big Block, Hemi, and Balljoint using design to make reference to gaskets, pistons, timing chains, gauges created in high-grade 316L surgical stainless steel. Their heart is the tried and tested Miyota/Citizen movement, dials have luminous hands and markers protected by hardened non-glare mineral crystals. The screw-down crowns and screw-in case backs provide water resistance to 100 meters.
