Welcome to the final installment of my Princeton Watches series focusing on the Citizen Eco-Drive. Today I want to make a mention that Princeton Watches offer big discounts on Citizen Eco-Drive Drive 300 Meter Professional.
The Citizen 300 Meter Professional Diver
Wow just take a look at this beast of a Diving Watch. You can tell just by looking at it that its a winner with its muscular proportions this Dive Watch really is a serious piece of kit. This isn’t called the ‘Professional Diver’ for nothing, this is the real deal with a water resistance down to 300 meters or 990 feet this going to appeal to anyone who works in the Dive industry and wants a reliable workhorse without the Rolex price tag.
It’s true there maybe other Diver Watches that are more elegant and fashionable, or maybe considered better looking because they have the classic Dive Watch design. Think of the famous Rolex Submariner and you see what I mean because it too can dive to 300 meters and the classic looks. But there is a catch, and that’s the several thousand dollars difference in price.
I think this is a working man’s Dive Watch which is offering all the requirements a Diver needs, but one that keeps its feet firmly on terra firma, if you pardon the slightly labored metaphor.
As you can see from the image, the visibility is good with bold markers and hands, the hour hands bright orange with white lume and an oversized bezel meaning you can never overstay your submarine welcome.
The strap is made from reinforced urethane rubber making it hard wearing but that’s not all. No, this strap has an extender to allow for wear over dry suits and thick wet suits.
Look at the sturdy design to allow for the substantial depths this timepiece can plunge. The stainless steel case is 18mm thick with a screw down case back and a 6 mm thick scratch resistant mineral crystal to protect it down to 300 meters. Notice the screw down crown is fitted at 9 o’clock which all of you drivers will already know, makes wearing your Dive Watch easier and more comfortable.
Yes, I know, I know… We all know about this, don’t we? But there maybe other readers just joining us on the last Eco-Drive post and don’t have this information. if you’re one of my readers who does know, that ok, just watch this video courtesy of Citizen.
