Previously we looked at the Invicta Grand Diver and concluded it was a great entry level Dive Watch, now I’d like to tell you about the Invicta Excursion as part of the Jomashop Reviews Of Cheap Invicta Watches.
What Is The Invicta Excursion Chrono?
Looking at the Excursion Chono it really stands out as something more demonstrative than the more subtle Grand Diver, and that’s okay because it’s a different class of timepiece that’s more about notice me, than a functional dive watch. Having said that I can’t go further without noting the massive dial and enormous number and markers that make this piece super easy to read.
The Excursion Chrono has a large 49.5 mm stainless steel case with a two-tone silver against gold on both the case and the stainless steel bracelet. The gold tone on the dial is brought to you on the uni-directional rotating bezel against a blue dial with luminous hands and index hour markers as well as large number values at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock positions. Again, minute markers are placed around the outer rim giving the dial balance. The Excursion has a smaller, more subtle, date display at the 4 o’clock position that seems to get lost in the busyness of the design, as do the two subdials of the Chronograph.
Notice the large square shoulders on the screw down crown protector that gives the case an aggressive feel to the already oversized case, giving the piece masculine feel. The movement is the reliable quartz and the glass protection helping to give a water resistance of 200 m is scratch resistant flame fusion crystal.
The strap is a sturdy 26mm in width deployment clasp in keeping with the general character of the piece, and the case back protecting the movement is solid.

This is an Invicta and we know the brand is a trusted one so there’s no issue with quality and warranties for that matter. This particular model is pretty cool and I love the oversized design which says, “look at me” while still maintaining some sense of modesty overall. If you are looking for an affordable and super masculine watch, you could do worse than getting yourself an Excursion Chrono.
