You may have come to the decision to make a big purchase online and you may have decided which online store suits your needs, but there is one thing holding you back. How do you know you can trust them? Sure, you have read the reviews and but you need more details about Jomashop warranty before you go ahead. Right, well here’s the good news, Jomashop offers both a product warranty and a warranty of authenticity.
When you buy a timepiece from Jomashop they will service every brand bought on their website (with some exceptions) for a period of 1 to 5 years after purchase depending on the terms and conditions. The warranty covers symptoms of abnormally gaining time, losing time, or not keeping proper time but will not cover external damage to the product.
That means damage resulting from, water/moisture, damage to the watch case, crystal/glass, watch bracelet / band, watch bezel, straps, screws, crown/stem, finishes, clasps/buckles, or any other physical damage to the watch. The same is true of damage caused by the watch being serviced by a third party.
So, the limited warranty does not cover any damage if there is evidence of excessive wear and tear or operating outside the watch manufacturer’s water resistance guidelines. Basically, the warranty will not cover the watch for any damage other than a manufacturer error, so the long list below nails this idea down.
-External wear-and-tear from daily, normal use.
-External damage to the product. Any damages resulting from wear to the watch case, crystal/glass, watch bracelet, watch bezel, straps, screws, crown/stem, finishes, clasps/buckles, or any other physical damage to the watch.
-Defects caused by outside force or improper use. ANY such incidental damages which occur by dropping or banging the timepiece.
-Any loss of stones or gems on the outer portion of the watch or watch face.
-Outside modifications and third party repair attempts will void the warranty.
-Any damage if used under conditions which exceed the watch manufacturer’s water resistance guidelines.
-Watches that are labeled as water resistant feature a screw down crown. The crown must be screwed down properly at all times to keep the watch casing from receiving water damage inside the stem. Water damage is not covered under the warranty by Jomashop.com nor any manufacturer.
