Bell & Ross BR03 Automatic
Welcome back everyone, it’s been a long time I haven’t been blogging due to my extended sailing trip that took me through the MED on a luxury yacht, although the luxury wasn’t intended for me. No, in the world of crewing the luxury extends to the paying customer not the mariner who makes do with a simple bunk and cramped spaces, but still, we get to eat well because chef is always one of the crew.
So what’s new on the watch front? Well, after earning a bit of spare cash I hooked myself up with a nice fashion oriented piece. The Bell & Ross BR03.
Yep, she is a beauty, but not the usual object of desire I would normally talk about, but I have had something of a change of heart in this respect.
It’s a long way from Swiss Luxury but I say this is head and shoulders above a Gucci and probably receives more comments as well. Yes, it’s in your face and it doesn’t care, so if you want subtlety, forget it. But…. this is BIG FUN !!
The back side
I have to say my change of mindset has moved on the subject of automatic over quartz as well. Last we spoke I had equal respect for the humble quartz, but I can’t see my self rocking a quartz again. No, after wearing an automatic over the last couple of months I am a firm believer. After all, when you are at sea there is no place to change a battery out, right?!
