Affordable Luxury Automatic Watches From Traser
For those of you who have never heard of Traser Swiss H3 and I’d be guessing that’s quite a few of you, they’re one of three brands owned by mb-microtec based in Hiederwangen Switzerland. As a global market leader in the development and production of micro-components, their product brands are made up of trigalight®, traser® Swiss H3 watches, and GlencaTEC, but it’s the Swiss H3 watches and in particular, the new P68 Pathfinder Blue that’s the subject of this piece.
They say of the P68 Pathfinder automatic blue; “For globetrotters and trendsetters; The new Traser P68 Pathfinder automatic midnight-blue! Whether in the Uban jungle, in barren deserts or traveling the seven seas, the new Traser P68 Pathfinder automatic series shows you the time as well as the way. Breathtaking, unique, with a strong character and reliable 24/7”
The original P68 Pathfinder Automatic Black-Hole
in blackened stainless steel is packed with detail, meaning if you look carefully you will recognize surfaces alternates between matt and polished edges to give an exciting and sophisticated edge to the piece. The integrated compass ring operated by the crown located at 8 o’clock uses the combination of the position of the sun and the hour hand, making setting the individual position and geographical directions a piece of cake.
As you would expect from a well built Swiss Made example, the display, numbers, markers are uncomplicated and clean meaning excellent legibility, but the real magic occurs at dusk.
The big sell on this piece is the lighting technology giving some of the best luminescence you can find out there. All the Traser models, the name coming from the inventor of this self-powered illumination technology trigalight®, is the in-house manufactured technology based on the illumination of tubes to emphasize the already effective luminous numerals during the day.
Basically, Tigalight® inserts in the hands allow for readability even in low-level lighting conditions but require no external energy source. This, in turn, means the light intensity given off will go unchanged for the minimum of 10 years.
New P68 Pathfinder-Blue
The introduction of the new P68 Pathfinder Blue Automatic maintains the already impressive build quality. Now with a more vibrant color scheme the Blue really stands out in a crowd, its integrated compass and its luminous ring radiates over the upper edge of the case at night time. The amazing Super-LumiNova elements on the dial and on the compass ring appear in stunning golden-yellow.
It doesn’t matter how many times I look at this piece, it never ceases to amaze me how the self-activated trigalight® tubes take control as the light dims to give bright clear luminous hands and markers until the sun comes up with no fade.
